In those twelve years he had managed to control vast amounts of land, execute millions of innocent civilians, and be the cause of millions of casualties of war. Perhaps, if he would’ve listened to those who were more knowledgeable, he would have succeeded with his plan. Even though he was a brilliant speaker, he was a very poor military strategist.
