What career do we plan to pursue? Growing up I never really had a “dream college.” I knew I wanted to attend college I just never knew where I wanted to go. I knew just one thing. I knew what I wanted to study. I wanted to one day

I have always dreamt of attending college and just being able to say I am a college student. Unfortunately I was never able to. The reason why I have not been able to pursue my goal to attend college is because of my full time career and assisting my sister with her daily needs. Both of those responsibilities did not allow me to physically attend classes at a university. It is hard to find a learning facility and classes that work with you and your busy schedule.…

There are a few reasons why I decided to attend a community college. First, I knew that if went to a community college, my financial aid will cover my tuition and fees. The second reason is that this community college is 15 minutes far away from my home and that really worked for me because I wasn't prepared at that time to leave my family behind. I know that I made the right decision because I'm getting the same education that other colleges and universities offer, but less expensive. The third reason is that I love small classes because I get to have a really good connection with my professors and my classmates and for me that is really important.…

“They say that college is where you find yourself, but I feel more lost than ever.” Although this may be true, I began to think I was looking for something to blame. This quote replayed in my head, as I walked out of the counselor's office with both my parents along my side as I felt the vibe of their uncertainty with my decision to go back. Before it gets good, it gets more boring. Summer had started and it’s been a year since I’ve been to college.…
