This article tries to explain the differences in time present in the history of the Book of Mormon. Although time is fairly well recorded, this “time” may or may not have coincided with our current understanding of how time is measured. In fact, from the records of wars, it would make more sense if they recorded each aspect of their lives in a different manner. In fact, this is seemingly supported without a doubt in viewing the patterns in which war is recorded. When a war is recorded, it is sometimes recorded that there is a time of recovery and preparation.…

Every week I learn something new or learn something that I “thought I knew.” This week so no different! I was surprised at the plight of the Mormon people. The belief from this religion is that there is no existence of God. The creation of the universe came from the Big Bang Theory and Darwinism. According to the Big Bang Theory, the universe was created 13.8 billion years ago starting from a singularity, and eventually expanding into what we know as the universe, galaxies, planets, etc. In regards to evolution, Darwinism is the theory that all species derive from organisms. Through these organisms, natural selection takes its course and the species that successfully sustain themselves, compete, and recreate, continue to evolve.…
The freedom of belief and religion for Jehovah’s Witnesses is not being enforced in certain countries. Many Witnesses are thrown in jail, killed, and persecuted for their religious beliefs in different countries. The right to freedom of belief and religion applies to everyone from every religion so it is not fair to deprive Witnesses from that right. There is still a chance to save many innocent Witnesses lives and stop them from being killed. It is a violation of the human rights to put someone to death without a fair trial by jury.…

Over 100 years ago the practice of polygamy was abolished by the Mormon religion. Still it is widely believed that the Mormons practice polygamy.…

I believe that the three religions should be grouped together as each seems to branch off from the previous religion. Judaism is the oldest of the three and provides a good foundation for the other two. Christianity came second as a branch of Judaism. There are talks of Jesus and Abraham in the Islam religion showing that it is also a branch off of Judaism, however it isn’t tied into Christianity as much. Each of the three religions are monotheistic, they each worship a single god, the same god so it seems.…
