In society we end up going with the flow, and in the story when someone is picked to be stoned they just don’t care if they die, they just stay calm because they're used to it, it’s part of them. It relates to me because I go with what society thinks in the bad way because when I was like 13 I used to be depressed and I would do the things that society likes, for example be pretty and have the perfect body figure that I could never reach. The story explains that the little town has a tradition they have which is to pick a piece of paper out of a box and if you are picked you die by getting hit with stones. The traditions I have is way better than the ones in the story what my family do when we see each other is that we kiss each other cheek to say hello or goodbye, and another thing we do it for news we blow up balloons to the amount of numbers in years like if it's 2011 we blow up 11 balloons.
