Adaptability
A leader is able to adapt to the changing environment within an organization without the “organization’s core values” changing. (Satterlee, p. 112). It is also important for the leader to be able to motivate other people to accept the changes and be willing to adapt to new concepts and processes. (Langely, 2014). The actions of leaders are the best display of their ethics and not those that may be written down somewhere that an employee may only read once a year. When a leader takes on that of a servant and displays the attributes of humility, selflessness, and ethical and caring behavior, many companies and employees flourish (Van Dierendonck, D.,
