“The Giver” is about a utopian society where everyone and everything looks the same and there’s nothing more outstanding than other things.
Our society isn't close at all at being a utopian world because we revolve too much around crime and starvation.
The Island was close enough to a utopia, but wasn't completely perfect.

Because they found their project viable, they decided not to do it. Bookstores views online books sellers as viable because they are their only competition. Youtube has become such popular viable source for independent filmmaker who can’t afford to distribute their work in the traditional manner. 5) adj. Vicarious- Experience something through watching, hearing or reading about it, but not experiencing it yourself. As I watched a traveling documentary, I got a vicarious feeling in which I was able to go to places like that. Because he’s blind he’s often vicarious and listens to stories of other in order to imagine himself in such places. When their daughter skipped school for day, the parents felt a vicarious feeling of guilt. 6) v. Vilify- to use slander and abusive statements against someone. Her mother was truly destroyed when her soon vilified against her when they got in an argument. Man students often vilify each other within the use of social media and the internet. The celebrity sued the author of an article after the celebrity felt she was vilifying her as a bad mother. 7) adj. Vindictive- Revenge. After she caught her husband cheating on her she was vindictive and burnt all his clothes.
