Mental and physical disabilities can be noticed early on and addressed with the child 's legal guardian. The child will be around other children, giving them opportunities to interact with others in a different environment. They get to learn and experience different places, people, and things. For example, when I attended preschool the class went on field trips every Friday. We did activities that pertained to books that were read to us and some that had to do with future trips we would take. People interested in pre-k programs can usually look online to look for program locations. They can also phone numbers pertaining to Georgia pre-k such as Bright from the Start. Although there are positive things about pre-k programs there are also challenges that can be faced. Diversity can sometimes become an issue in some classrooms. This diversity mainly stems from low-families children, seeing that they are only able to be in low quality programs. Whereas the pre-schools in higher-income areas have high intelligence because of the quality of their programs. Another issue is if the pre-k program actually has a long term effect on a child. I believe that’s why some parents or legal guardians choose not to send their child to pre-school. Which in the end is ok, because based off the people I’ve met in my life, it didn’t have much of an effect on
