The Dog In The Night-Time Analysis

TThis world is filled with different ideas, but the most important thing to keep in mind is, do people agree with the ideas or do they disagree. The disagreement on an idea would cause the thinker to think in a unique way. In the novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon, Christopher sees a different world through his eyes. Christopher demonstrates that when he takes an action almost always he has a reason behind it, while, an average person would convey an action without any justification. The main character, Christopher, has a unique style of thinking which causes the reader some difficulty agreeing with some of Christopher’s Ideas. Some styles that Christoper uses could also influence people’s thinking and make doubt himself is this the right thing to do. Christopher makes the reader reexamine how they think about main characters because in this novel the main character does not make decisions based on emotions. Before Christopher is about to run away to London, he stops by Mrs. Alexander house and tells her, “‘And my father lied to me. And also he said he killed Wellington’” (Haddon 133). Most of the time if some close to one committee's a crime, then they would not go and tell other people that this person has done this crime. They would not give their family member up because most of the time the person is using emotion to make the decision. Christoper on the other hand does not use emotion when taking serious decisions, and goes and tells his neighbor that his father has committed this crime. A unique style in which Christopher makes decisions could affect the way an average person would choose. An average person could learn from Christopher because they could realize that sometimes emotions blinds a man when making a right
