This response from the United States is very low compared to other nations, and it nowhere near what the refugees need. Not only does the United State accept a low number of Syrian refugees, but the few who have made it to America have had a rough transition. The perception of the general public and fear of ISIS followers bringing danger has frozen any relief efforts that the United States would offer. The rules and patterns that this response followed is very straight forward to the presented problem. In the eyes of the United States government the risk outweighs the reward on the issue of taking in refugees.
