If you watch Cops or any other show about the police patrolling the streets, you definitely have heard of marijuana, also known as, weed and a variety of other names. Even if you haven’t watched those kinds of shows, you are sure to have heard of it because it is a well-known drug that is recognized by many people.
Marijuana is a plant, a greenish-gray mixture of a dried flower called Cannabis sativa. It is most commonly smoked as an illegal drug. In some places it is not illegal. It is sometimes prescribed for medical purposes. In that case it is mostly used in teas or mixed into food.
