I am applying for the Student Navigator position. As an alumnus of KVCC and former TRiO student, I have a deep understanding of the complexities and barriers to achieving academic success. With over fourteen years of experience as an educator, and nine years as a social worker and counselor, I am a strong candidate for this position. I currently work as an adjunct professor teaching Psychology classes at KVCC. I have encouraged many students to continue or further their education by giving them valuable resources to help remove barriers. I have a reputation for having excellent course evaluations and great rapport with students. In addition to being a conscientious educator and social worker, I am open-minded, respectful, and genuine.
