Soundtrack to My Life Have you ever just sat down and thought about your life and then put music to it? That’s kind of what I’m here to talk about. It just so happened I was listening to music while I was laying there. So just naturally I started putting music to the situations and I realized I’m a person that likes a wide range of music. For example I have some older songs, some country songs, and some more popular songs. The song of my first situation was “I Can See Clearly Now the Rain is Gone” by Johnny Nash. It perfectly describes me getting my glasses for the first time and finally being able to see. Even though I was kind of young I remember going to Ozark Family Vision Center in Springfield and being absolutely thrilled that I was going to be just like my dad. I didn’t even care that I was going to be able to see a lot better. My favorite part was spending hours trying to pick out my new pair of glasses. Unfortunately I spent too long and my mom walked up and picked out a pair for me. Besides the occasional “Mom you 're ruining my life” whole situation family is actually one of the …show more content…
Thank you so much for reading it, I absolutely loved going back to all my memories from when I was a kid, and how much fun it all was. With that being said looking back on everything I learned a lot about myself, and how I deal with things. I never realized I started getting into books until after my parents got divorced. Books just became an escape of what I was going through, and after reading my soundtrack I hope it tells you I’ve been through some hard things, but I’ve also been through some pretty good things, and everything I’ve been through has made me who I am today. Which I absolutely love and wouldn’t change a thing. Again thanks for reading and have an amazing

What are some of the main causes of tension between family members? Are the causes related to societal expectations, cultural expectations, or personal pride? Or maybe it is a combination of all of these causes? How these external and internal conflicts can affect the relationship among family members is noticeable in the short stories, “Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut and “The Rules of the Game” by Amy Tan. In both, “Harrison Bergeron,” and “The Rules of the Game,” the impact of these struggles can be seen between the relationships of the parents and their children; Harrison’s parents, in “Harrison Bergeron,” show indifference towards how societal beliefs affect their son while Mrs. Jong, in “Rules of the Game,” favors cultural expectations…

I second all of the points brought up by Chris in his responce to your incredible writing. I was deeply moved by your literacy narrative. By simply having the pleasure of spending the past month or so with you, I would have never known about the part of your life that you wrote so passionately about in your literacy narrative. I often find it so intriguing that everyone has a story that resonates so deeply with him or her. That is exactly why I think large projects such as Humans of New York (HONY) or class assignments such as this one are so important.…

Behind the curly hair, the spontaneous laugh, and the vivid imagination, something sparked a fire in my soul. Throughout my life I have felt so lost, like a pier soul trying to find something to attach itself to. I consequently tried to find my purpose in this world and find a passion that was worth embracing, but nonetheless I would fail. It was not until my freshman year of high school, when I finally got that indescribable feeling. I had found what to attach myself too, I had found myself within the music.…

As long as I can remember, my life has been surrounded by music. Since birth, my mother has played jazz. In the car, around the house, I was surrounded.
