Cardiac muscle is striated but it is thin and the striations are along the intercalated discs and it has T-tubules whilst in a skeletal muscle are striated but together with a bone by collagen fibers which are called tendons. The striations in the cardiac muscle consist of proteins. The thin striations are known to be I-bands; the thicker striations are the A-bands. The T-tubules make up triads, and intercalated disc go together with cardiac myocyte to syncytium. Tendons in skeletal muscle consist of actin and myosin; the muscle fibers are made up by coalition of myoblasts involved.
