What if all the exercise training in the gym brought little results due to one fixable problem with a simple solution? Muscle building is a substantial biological stressor that requires appropriate rest and proper nutrition. After a training session, nutrients are depleted from the body and needs to be restored for muscles to have the fuel to begin repairing and rebuilding. According to Schoenfeld and Aragon, timing is a known approach involving consumption of protein and carbohydrates before, during, and post workout trainings. The window of opportunity for refueling is within a thirty-minute time frame post-training (Placeholder1). Protein aids in protein synthesis. Protein synthesis is the process that puts together protein in the cells of the muscles. After training, muscles are broken down and need rebuilding. This must happen for them to be rebuild again making them stronger and promoting growth. Protein assists in the repair process. The process is comparable to when your body is tired and sleep is used for restoration. When delivering protein to your body, it is best to do so in liquid or an easily digestible form allowing for quick absorption. Simply eating protein will not deliver nutrients to your muscles in thirty minute after working out. A favorable option for quick absorbing protein is whey or whey isolate. Whey is a protein that is found in milk and milk by products such as cheese. Although whey is a quick digestible protein, whey isolate is absorbed at a much quicker rate. Doing so takes dedication and effort to set aside a considerable amount of time to devote to the body. No one would go to these lengths to do so without a positive result. When it comes to exercise and particularly strength training, proof of good end results is almost always easily seen with the eye. Results usually present themselves quickly although you do not reach your end result fast. If exercise is not displaying results, then it is time to reevaluate the diet. Many are not aware do not know the importance of post workout meals and the time frame your muscles needs replenishment including needing protein and carbohydrates. Working out hard and replenishing your body for rebuilding of the muscles is always going to give you the results you are wanting and
