The police officer who shot Ronald Johnson in October of 2014 will not be facing any charges, according to the court on Monday. After reviewing the dashcam video from an officer’s car, police claim that the officer who shot Johnson was not wrong for doing so. Dorothy Holmes, Ronald’s mother and her attorney had to fight for the video from the car’s dashcam of her son’s shooting to be publicly released and even then took months before that happened. According to a CNN video there was no weapon in Johnson’s hand, but police on scene argue differently. The state attorney argued that if Johnson was shot, the weapon would not have remained in his hand. Even though this might be an accurate point, what if there was never
