While Democrats don't want people to know the truth about the Second Amendment and Ar-15's, the Founding Fathers wrote exhaustively that every citizen should always have the right to defend themselves.
As noted by the Federalist Papers, the Second Amendment clearly states that, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
When the Second Amendment was written, all weapons were considered to be military guns.
