Patrick J. Toomey was born in Providence, RI on Nov. 17, 1961. He lives in Zionsville, PA with his wife, Kris, and their three children: Bridget, Patrick, and Duncan. His father, Patrick Toomey, which was a former U.S. Marine, worked for a local electric utility company. His mother, Mary Ann Toomey, worked at their parish church. Pat Toomey graduated as Valedictorian from LaSalle Academy in Providence, RI, 1980. After that, he then attended and graduated from Harvard University in 1984, where he received his bachelors’ degree in political science. After college, He went to work for Chemical Bank.
