Earth is the only place that we as humans know where life exists. It is the only place where we are able to do our regular chores, using many different resources. However, human activities using significant amount of burning of fossil fuels, agricultural and industrial process are increasing the atmospherics concentrations substance that is affecting the climate changes. They don 't realize that in the future it’s going to cost us and the life on earth will become hard to live. In order to prevent this from happening, we as people need to reduce in resources, especially by the affluent group of people. Affluence includes the people who are rich and constantly over consuming all the natural resources that are non-renewable to fulfill their wants …show more content…
The use of private cars has increased significantly over the years. As compared to the old days, today’s day more people have their own transportation. “According to a report from Ward 's Auto released last week, the global number of cars exceeded 1.015 billion in 2010, jumping from 980 million the year before”(Tencer). Driving cars that produce that produces a lot of harmful toxic emissions. All in all, driving cars around cause more problems than it does well. The car exhaust releases carbon dioxide, which, affect drastically to our global warming. There are alternative such and electric and hybrid cars that produce less emission, however, it takes a lot of time and energy to build hybrid and electric cars. There are problems both ways, but the use of private cars is higher. The best solution for solving this issue would be to use in less private cars. Recycling water bottles and soda cans reduce a great amount of our waste production, reusing this will decrease the gas emissions. EPA estimates that cutting back waste generation to a level consistent with 1990 could reduce GHG emissions by 11.6 million metric tons of carbon equivalent (MMTCE). There are many various ways that community can reduce the greenhouse gas emissions through recycling. One they are too by purchasing a recycled product. Like cities like Salisbury in North Carolina “is the first city in the country to use locally manufactured 100 percent recycled bricks and brick pavers in city-wide improvements” (EPA). Purchasing recycled products, we conserve land and reduce the need for oil. Another main important factor in making recycled product is that it saves Clean Air and Water, by doing this there will be less air pollution and will save significant amount of money for the
