Gather all the materials.
Put 50g of strawberries in resealable bag,( making sure there is no air remaining) and squeeze and smash them for about two minutes.
Mix one half teaspoon of salt, one third cup of water and one tablespoon of dishwashing liquid in a separate glass or small bowl.
Add about three tablespoons of the solution into the resealable plastic bag.
Squeeze and mix the strawberries for another minute.
Pour the strawberry mixture through the cheesecloth-covered funnel into the tall glass until only pulp remains.
Pour the filtered strawberry liquid into the small glass jar so that it is 25% full.
Measure out about one half cup of chilled rubbing alcohol and slowly pour it from the side into the jar until it forms a one-inch layer above the strawberry solution, and make sure that they don’t mix together.
