Personal Statement: A Career As An Aerospace Engineer

Superior Essays
Engineering is the branch of science and technology involved with the design, and building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. As long as I can remember, which was since I was seven years old, I had always felt a passion for doing something in designing and building imaginary cars, ships, and planes. But now that I have come to an age where I have to choose a career and go forth in life will be tough, but one thing is for sure, I will be an Engineer.
The first engineering career that I have in mind is an Aerospace Engineer. An Aerospace Engineer works on designing, manufacturing, and testing aircraft and aerospace products. They are also in charge if a project is technically and financially plausible and if they will be safe for

Mechanical Engineering designs, develops, builds, and tests mechanical and thermal devices that include tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical Engineers typically work in a professional setting. Occasionally visit worksites where a problem or piece of equipment needs their personal attention. Mostly work in engineering services, research and development, managerial positions. Mechanical Engineers who plan on selling their services must licensed in all states and by the District of Columbia. A Mechanical Engineer’s job would typically be analyzing problems to see how mechanical and thermal devices might help solve the problem, designing or redesigning mechanical and thermal devices, using analysis and computer-aided design, developing and testing prototypes of devices they design, analyze the test results and change the design as needed, and oversee the manufacturing process for the device of many products ranging from medical devices to new batteries. Mechanical engineers design power-producing machines such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines as well as power-using machines, like refrigerators and air-conditioner systems as examples. Mechanical engineers design other machines as well, such as elevators and escalators. Also design material-handling systems, like conveyor systems and automated transfer stations. Like other engineers, Mechanical engineers use computers all the time, computers help mechanical engineers test how a machine is likely to work and generate specifications for certain parts. For one to become a Mechanical engineer one would need a bachelor’s degree, and a graduate’s degree to conduct research. Many mechanical engineering degree programs usually include courses in mathematics and biology and physics, and also engineering and design courses. Mechanical engineering technology
