Review Task – Personal Reflection for Enterprise and Employability Task
Reflection of process:
As part of our Enterprise and Employability Task, we were asked to divide ourselves into teams of four people. After getting into the teams we were asked to evaluate different products such as iPads and board games such as Monopoly and evaluate their selling point and the factors which differentiated them other their competitors. Later, we were given the ask to discuss, design and invent a new board game. The board game could be a modification of an existing board game, be a completely new board game or an interactive game for the upcoming youths. Throughout the task we had to talk about the 5p’s and the

Next time, we would try our best to making a working prototype of the app using public programs such as Scratch. This would be beneficial as it would enable the audience to explore the app more.
Throughout the project, I’ve learnt the importance of many skills, such as time-management and ICT skills. One problem we faced was that we spent more time on certain areas such as the 5p’s to include as much detail as we can and therefore we were lacking time in certain regions like making and filling the board. In addition, I’ve learnt the lesson that it is crucial to have ICT skills to produce graphs to analyse the financial aspects of the product. Plus, the

In the first video, the teacher talks about how it is important it is to start teaching children how to use critical thinking, and how to promote creative thinking and questioning. She uses a box of objects linked to the lesson, and has the students inquire why those particular items are in the box. For the lesson to be effective, the teacher uses content relevant to the children to help them understand the concept of a thing versus an idea. I think one of the most important things she discusses in the video is the idea of cognitive space. Waiting for the students to have an idea or an answer to make sure they understand the lesson.…

Good morning Ms Gianotti and fellow classmates. For this term’s child studies assessment, I have designed a toy for 2-3-year-old called the “Art Geo Board”. The art geo board is a kids toy to encourage them to learn more about shapes, colours, numbers, alphabet, objects, pattern, counting and symmetry. It is a wooden board with pegs you can string rubber bands around and fairly simple to make and cheap fun. I made this toy for under $12 in materials and completed in less than an hour.…

Soft skills are essential to any business or organization. With modern advances in education, it is becoming more commonplace for people to be on par with each other in their skills. Some of these, though, can not be taught. It is easy to find someone who is qualified for the job - but your degree does not reflect you as a person. Leadership and teamwork is essential for any company to move forward, if there is a gear that doesn’t work it can easily stop the whole machine.…

Sky’s the Limit Video games are a huge aspect of modern culture -only having been brought to life nearly 50 years ago. Not only popular among children, but also with older people as well regardless of gender, race, or social class. Anybody can enjoy a video game -seeing as there are millions of different games tailored to every different type of person. In his article, “Dream Machines”, author Will Wright takes a stance on the topic of how video games affect children. He discusses the contrasting ways children and adults approach things like games -how adults will first look at the set rules/directions on how to play the game whereas children go straight for the game itself.…

Two things I do not have and after I read Dr. Matthews' email I knew this class would be intense, however, that did not intimidate me. Last semester was my most difficult semester. The Forgotten Pasted In my museum, I want to have a historical theme to it that shows individuals back then, it was socially acceptable to either straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersexed, or whatever. I would like to have a theme that shows the rise and fall, and now the acceptation of the normal gay lifestyles. First, before I get to the artists, I want my visitors to be artists; I want them to take pictures of themselves and place them on the huge walls at the beginning of the of the museum opening hallway. Then before entering to see the art, I want a sign saying, “We are created in God’s image, and we are only human.”…
