8 scientific reasons the author Jennifer Acosta writes about eight factors that can influence someone to fall in love with another. Similar political views can bring two people together just such as the same religion, values and personality. However, having the same political view does not create much conflict in the relationship and can keep a couple together longer. The second factor is chivalry. A person who cares deeply about others as to put them first has a higher chance of being in a happy stable relationship. It is easy to fall in love with someone who is genuinely kind to everyone. Third factor is a woman’s waist –to-hip ratio. Men, if they do not realize it, tend to be attracted to women who have a small waist. It was no surprise that people want to fall in love. But what was surprising was that not many people know how to look for love. Lindsay Tigar’s article claimed that being in love was like being a drug addict. It can make a person feel good. But it has its downfalls. She says that when people are in love their brains are releasing a lot of chemicals, one of them is dopamine. Dopamine is a hormone that helps process movement and emotions. Thus, it makes individuals feel energized and very happy which is why it is so addicting. Tigar touches on some of the emotions people go through when they really like someone. Also she talks about the good and the bad side of being infatuated by another. The bad thing about this article was that Tigar does not go much detail about each topic she lists. It could be true in some cases. But having a broken heart will not guarantee a quick sudden death. Maybe over time people can develop an illness or an addiction that can kill them. Furthermore, she states that married couples are healthier and live longer. Does that mean couples that
