It also serves as a platform for the growth of natural bone tissue. The bone graft can be performed during a call guided tissue regeneration technique.
• Tissue regeneration guided- It allows bone regrowth destroyed by bacteria. The dentist puts a special piece of biocompatible tissue between existing bone and tooth. The material allowing the bone to regrow
• Enamel and derivatives- Another technique involves the application of a special gel on a root of the diseased tooth. This gel stimulates the growth of bones and tissues.

Prevention-
The best method to prevent periodontal disease is to follow a good oral hygiene program. This means brushing your teeth at least twice a day. Even better, after every meal or snack or as the dentist recommends. A thorough cleaning with a toothbrush and flossing should take three to five minutes.
