I am Jacob Murphy from your ENGL 0960-44 class that meets every Monday and Wednesday from 10:30-11:45. I am emailing you to talk about my participation grade and hope to influence so I receive a higher grade. I believe my participation grade should be an A and I hope you believe so too because of multiple reasons.

My first reason why I believe I should get an A on my participation grade is that I have been in class every day since the first day of classes. My second reason is that I am always listening to you and to all the other students while they talk.
