I quickly learned that to get to places in America you need a car because it 's so big and there 's no public transport. The language is very different and English and maths felt like alien languages. These things made me really doubt my decision to move away from home. There were other problems, including a coach that thought we were training for a marathon, I 've never ran so much in my life! Eventually this caused me to become injured so I wasn 't allowed to play. This was a big problem for me because one if the main reasons I moved across the world was to play football. I became very negative again. I started to dislike everything about everyone and everything. I never wanted to leave the house. I complained about everything but never did anything to fix the problems. I was worried about getting injured again and I just wanted to go home, so that 's what I did. I completed the semester and went back to England on December 15th. This is possibly one of the worst decisions I 've ever made. It 's also possibly the best. I learnt to much about myself and my boundaries. I 'm not a lazy person. I wasn 't planning on just sitting around at home whilst everyone else got an education. So within two weeks of being back I had two part time waitressing jobs, and I was offered an amazing job as a photographer at a commercial photographers! However, I could see my friends in America were having fun. They were doing things and going places and I really started to miss everyone and everything. I had a return ticket booked for after Christmas so I changed the ticket so I could go for spring break. We went on a road trip from Ohio, through Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina and eventually arrived at South Carolina. We had an absolutely amazing time and made memories we’ll never
