My Acceleration Experience

My main reason for applying for an acceleration subject is to both challenge and improve my technique. Applying for an acceleration subject will help benefit and further advance my knowledge in the field of The Arts. I am also applying for this acceleration to further enhance my terminology as this will allow me to take on Art as a subject in the close future. This experience will help me learn and grow as a person as well as make me able to deal with time consuming, stressful situations.

4. What makes you believe that you will be able to cope with the demands of the accelerated study?

Organisation and time plans are apart of my daily study. They allow me to cope with time consuming demands and even out my workload. I believe that I am capable of coping with the demands of accelerating as I am organised, punctual, well behaved and place all my effort into each of my tasks. As seen on my report, I give in all my tasks in by the assigned due dates and possess high-level work habits. I am able to undergo large, demanding tasks and complete them with high grades.

What do you believe are the benefits for you of accelerating at Year 10?

If I was to receive an acceleration subject of units 1 & 2, I would be enabled to grow my abilities and understandings in the Fine Arts. I would be able to learn new terminology and techniques as well as grow a more mature mindset. The benefits of me receiving an acceleration subject will allow me to advance in the Fine Arts, further into the future. This will allow me to head into my desired career and learn important skills I will need to carry into a workplace. If I accelerate in year 10, I will be open to learning a variety of new techniques and
