Audience members are inspired by Mr. Keating’s actions and speeches. The majority of individuals can relate to having an inspiring teacher that gives lessons that can be used throughout the students’ lives. Others may look up to Mr. Keating wishing they had a teacher as encouraging as he is. Personally, when I viewed this movie speech, it made me feel motivated to reach for astonishing accomplishments that I would not normally consider. In my opinion, countless other audience members experienced this as well. In the movie, the characters were speechless after Mr. Keating talked to them. They never had a teacher speak to them like this before, so it was original and unique for them. Keating uses sensible reasons and wise words to make his students feel empowered. He uses his personal insight as an English teacher to fuel his reasoning. Mr. Keating uses illustrated wording to give his speech emotion. Lastly, he uses facts and reasoning so his dialogue makes sense to his audience. These factors positively affect his work to motivate his audience about living life to its
