What it takes to be a survivor...
Intro – Your boat is sinking at sea. What do you do? Well according www.boaterexam.com 70 percent of people will panic in an accident. Also, about 15 percent of people will make a dumb decision, and the other 15% of people actually make a smart decision. This 15% of the population are what we call survivors. What makes a person a survivor? The three traits that most survivors display are having courage, being brave, and keeping calm under pressure.
BP #1 – The character Rainsford in Most Dangerous Game is a great example of a survivor with courage. Rainsford shows this trait in the story multiple times. He not only falls off a boat and swims to an island, but he also survives being chased by the evil General Zaroff too! Rainsford survives Zaroff by using all of his hunting and outdoor skills to survive and defend himself. Rainsford also shows his courageousness by jumping off the cliff to finally escape Zaroff and later defeat him. He had to have lots of courage and strength to jump off a cliff and swim back to kill Zaroff.
BP #2 – Aron Ralston, from Trapped showed that survivors must be brave. Throughout the whole story he was

"I will not lose my nerve, I will not." (MDG pg. 20). Rainsford is keeping a level head to try to make it out alive and not make mistakes. "His mind worked frantically." (MDG pg. 23) He thought of a native trick he had learned. He kept Calm and cool and used his mind and made a trap to help him in Uganda. If you have these skills, then you will be able to survive.

Conclusion - Ultimately, in order to survive you must have those three traits: Courage, Bravery, and Calmness under pressure. Courage is the strength to go on in hard times, Bravery is to man up and make hard decisions, Calmness under pressure is being calm and making smart decisions. If you’re ever in a tight situation remember these traits.
