Michael jordan is a former all star basketball player. Many question whether he is the greatest player of all time. One reason why many people question Michael jordan, is because of how many nba records and achievements jordan has. Michael jordan also won all of his nba championships with the chicago bulls team. Furthermore, jordan retired with a career high of 30.1 ppg, which is an nba record. Michael jordan was the greatest basketball player of all time. In addition,the bulls team were doing terrible, until Michael jordan got drafted and led the team with 6 nba championships(NBA.comMichael jordan bio). Jordan was also a two time gold medalist(NBA.com.michael jordan bio). Furthermore, when Michael jordan retired he set a pretty high amount of points,which was a grand total of 32,292(nba.comMichael jordan). As an example, jordan failed to make the sophomore varsity team, because of his height. “But that didn't affect jordan because that same year he grew 6 inches(harney stats). Jordan would later in junior year star in the varsity level. “After jordan's senior year, he went on signing to play at the university of carolina for his college years”(harney). Eventually, michael jordan's accomplishments for high school were amazing. Later on jordan would become an all star in high school. Jordan was doing over average in high school. “In addition jordan scored 35 points in his first varsity game”(harney). Jordan also averaged great points, rebounds, and assists in layney varsity. “During the two seasons that mj played on the laney varsity , he would average 25.1 points per game,12 rebounds, and 5.3 assists(harney).
