Once again, this test must be taken by all incoming students because it helps your counselor decide on which math you should be placed in so that any class is not too challenging. After comparing both of these tests, I found that the math levels on them are fairly the same regarding the type of skill you need to complete them. The similarities these tests share are; no calculator is permitted, the timing is roughly the same except you get thirty minutes more on the James Madison test and on both tests, are taken electronically on the computer. For both of these tests, I need to refresh on showing work and writing problems out instead of relying on the calculator to solve for me. After doing this project, I have learned what a placement test is and how to prepare for them. I am very excited to be able to have the knowledge of what lies ahead of me for my future and where I will end up going for my further education.
To conclude, researching these two schools math placement tests has helped me figure out where I stand in the perspective of completing my future math courses. I enjoyed being able to find out more about what I can do to help me along with the process of applying to
