Staff Sergeant Richard M. Green has consistently performed in his duties as both Academics Student Management Chief and Marines Awaiting Training (MAT) Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge in an exemplary and highly professional manner. Staff Sergeant Green displays himself on a level of proficiency and enthusiasm in an independent duty environment, through distinguishing himself as an exceptionally resourceful manager by consistently tracking and maintaining records of 2,796 student’s academic records over a period of two years 15 April 2015 to 28 February 2018.

Staff Sergeant Green clearly and intelligently articulates all ideas, thoughts and opinions. As a result of Staff Sergeant Green’s dedication and superior performance, he was selected as one of the few Sergeants entrusted to manage the daily actions of the Marines assigned to MAT Platoon, spending 1,440 man hours developing mentally,

Staff Sergeant Green selflessly spent 170 hours as the Company Computer Technical Representative, ensuring all company assets are accounted for and service issues were handled in a timely manner, resulting in the creation of 36 Navy/Marine Corps Intranet accounts. Staff Sergeant Green’s initiative led to the acquisition of seven multi-function printer/scanner assets for the company overcoming a year plus of contracting and support issues. Staff Sergeant Green was also appointed as the Company Share Point administrator assisting 24 Marines with account creation and site development for the Company’s intent.
