Education is apart of our everyday lives on this earth. we learn in each and every step we take from working at our jobs, while reading a book or even while learning in a classroom education will always be in each and every place we go. I like Malcolm X am also a different race other than white, I too because of the color of my skin have been looked upon as different in my younger ages. we are born in different times and different places but racism will always be found in the eyes of some who remain ignorant of the fact that we were all created equal. Like Malcolm X i was also trapped behind some sort of bars not physical but emotional. At the age of three my mother was diagnosed with stage two of Adenocarcinoma cancer, and ventricular septal defect. At first i didn 't understand because i was a mere child but later on when i started school i began to realize that not only was my mother running low on time but also i was slowly becoming lost and confused of what was going on around me. at age eight i woke up one morning alone with my mom getting ready for school as we headed for the door of our home my mother collapsed the last thing i remember was attaching a portable defibrillator to my mothers chest. I was only eight years old and have never used the device but i remembered watching the doctor showing my mother how to use the device incase of an emergency. That day i realized education is not something that can only be taught through a book but also through visually learning and getting hands on experience. From that day and on i began doing more than just studying basic classes such as English, Math, history, and science. I also began studying music to enhance my learning abilities. Like malcolm X i began to study everything i could get my hands on i started with singing because i wanted to challenge not only my mind but also my voice when i came to matching the pitch of an instrument. soon that became to
