In 2012, 60 perecent of deaths among passenger vehicle occupants ages 16-19 were drivers Teen drivers have a high accident rate so allowing them to leave school for lunch will only increase that number. The amount of time allotted for lunch at school is not enough time for a teen to drive safely for lunch. Therefore the teeangers will feel rushed in order to get back to school in time. One research effort shows teens are most likely to crash during three different times of the day: the hour before school, the hour after school, and lunchtime.Rushing to be the first to get off campus, flying through traffic, and a car full of students is the most dangerous predicament ever.
