Left Elbow Pain Case Studies

DOI: 2/18/2014. The patient is a 44-year-old female administrative assistant who sustained a work-related injury as a consequence of repetitive motion (typing). As per OMNI, the patient was diagnosed with repetitive strain (right forearm, trapezius).
Based on the progress report dated 05/20/16 by Dr. Aquino, the patient did not have relief from the trigger point injections. She notes recent increase in her left elbow pain. The patient has acute pain flare up of her elbow pain. She states she never had PT for her elbows. Pain is rated at 5-6/10.
On examination, there is moderate left elbow joint tenderness and mild to moderate on the right. Grip strength is decreased at 4/5.
Range of motion is normal but with pain at end range of abduction.
