Kym Borgman was born on August 21, 1959, in Hawthorne, CA. Kym has a normal childhood, with an older brother who picked on him. Even though his brother often picked on Kym, when the two weren’t fighting they were conspiring and getting into trouble. Martin would not be Kym’s only accomplice, his life long friend Charles (aka Chuck) Dixon would join Kym in many of his adolent escapades. The two would even raise their families together when that time came.
Who knew searching my grandfather's name would lead me to all of this information. Though I don’t talk regularly to Robert Kooren (aka the guy who wanted to know where my grandfather was buried) I do thank him for all they help. This allowed me to find out more about my grandfather since I was only ten years old when he died.
Bonnie Borgman, my mother and my best friend. She has always been the type of person to differ from expectations. John would serve in the Navy for over 20 years. It would be while he was in the Philippines, where meet Gigi and spend most of his time in the military. The two would fall in love fairly fast and as soon as they returned to his hometown of Carson City, NV, they would be married. Through most of their marriage John would be away serving the Navy. Though between his years of service John and Gigi would have two children, Gerald and Stephanie Himmelsbach. John and Gigi’s marriage would slowly be destroyed from his time serving in the Navy.
