Later being anointed as a king from a small shepherd boy, David decided to please the king and play his harp as the best player for Saul. Afraid of loosing his place he started getting migraines and horribly jealous of David wishing him to be dead. Saul's son warned David that he should run as Saul was going to try to kill him. After Saul tried to kill David by throwing a spear at him while he was playing his harp he decided to run. Saul upset sought out to kill him and after finding him and his little band of an army camped outside. Saul slept in his guarded area, and as he was sleeping David came into his quarters and did not kill him. Solomon was know for his wisdom. There was one instance where two women came to King Solomon arguing about a baby and who's it as finally the king told his guard to cut the baby in half. One of the women showed no reaction, but the other one pleaded to the king to spare the baby. Then King Solomon said, " Give the infant to the one who is pleading for she is the true mother". Besides his wisdom King Solomon had many wives that represented little peace treaties that he had with other nations but loved them all well. As a King he was set to do what they all did, follow God, protect his people, and organize his government and the building of temples and strongholds. He continued to lead the nation and fulfill the covenant of a long lasting nation in that
