On November 22, 1963 John Fitzgerald Kennedy was parading through Dallas, Texas.JFK was in Texas to make a speech the day before and they thought it would be nice to have a parade and the president would be in it. During the parade on Elm street supposedly four shots were taken in his direction and one killed him, it hit him in the back of the head chopping off the side if his head.He was riding with his wife, the governor of Texas, and his wife when he was shot. Lee Harvey Oswald was blamed for this horrific crime.
I think Lee Harvey Oswald was part of a larger conspiracy though, I believe he took a shot or two but I don't think he took the shot that hit Kennedy’s head.
Some people said they saw something silver coming out of the sixth floor book depository.Oswald worked at the school book depository and went home on the weekends to see his family.The day before the assassination, he asked a friend of a ride home and this was on a Thursday so it was unusual for him to go home.His friend asked him why he wanted to go home and he said to get curtain rods so he could hang curtains in his boarding house.On the day of the assassination he carried about a two foot long box and his friend asked him about it and he said it was the curtain rods. …show more content…
He saw one of the men take apart a gun and put it in a tool box.The FBI offered him money to keep quiet about this.Another man was made to leave the parking lot behind the grassy knoll. The person who told him to leave was supposedly a CIA
