These theories give different explanations onto who might have assassinated the president, and provide possible reasons that explain the plot and reason for the assassination. On of the theories on who assassinated JFK point to his right hand man at the time, Lyndon Johnson. The issue that gave motive to this theory was that the President was Looking to replace Johnson as the vice president in the upcoming election. Also LBJ had a political career that was being threatened by a corruption scandal, and when he entered the presidency the issue was overcomed (22 November 1963). Lyndon B. Johnson might have been motivated by these things to kill the president. Another theory is the “Little Green Men” theory. This was introduced because JFK was supposedly showing to much interest in alien activity. There are two pieces of evidence that back this theory up. One if that JFK wrote a letter that demands he was able to look at secret ufo files, and another from a CIA official that say he cannot see classified information and material (The Week). Because of the disagreement between JFK and the CIA may have caused issues that the CIA were not pleased of. The man would was blamed for the assassination was Lee Harvey Oswald. From the evidence given by witnesses and officials reports of the assassination Oswald was not guilty because there is a lack of evidence that Lee Harvey Oswald killed the president, there is evidence that supports other theories of the assassination, and that there were witnesses and evidence that suggests that the shots came from the grassy knoll.
