Personal Narrative: Suite Life On Deck Personal Narrative

Great Essays
It was an early day for me, waking up at 6:30 on a saturday morning just to walk out into my living room and lay on the couch facing the tv with my blanket over me and my pillow under my head. I grabbed the remote and turned on the tv, just to find out that my favorite show was not on tv. My favorite tv show at that time was called Suite Life on Deck. After a watching it for a little bit i became very tired again and before you know it, I was asleep. Right there on the couch wrapped tightly in my blanket and I was nice and cosey. That was until I heard my mom yelling at me to get up off the couch. I asked “Why did you wake me up?” “It’s time to eat breakfast.” “What time is it?” “Nine in the morning.” Then I got up and went …show more content…
I never walked to school though, my mom usually gave me a ride there and picked me up after school to go home. It wasn’t until second grade when I finally met all my best friends. My main best friend was in the same class this year as me and his name was Jacob Vanhorn. He was almost a full year younger than me and his birthday was 3 months before mine. We had a lot in common and got along really well. A lot of the time after school my mom would take me to his house which was by right by the school just on the other side of the street as the school. We used to hang out all the time in the summer both at mine and his house. A couple of times I took him to go with me to Chuck E. Cheese’s in Des Moines. We always had a blast when we hung out. We were really close and kept getting to be closer friends until one day his dad got a new job in New Hampton. Then he had to move away and go to New hampton in 4th grade. Ever since then I haven’t really kept in close contact with him.
In 4th grade is when i started to get really into sports and doing sports. It all started with basketball. I was playing on my hoop outside my house one day after school. Next thing I knew was that someone was saying my name, but I looked around and down the street and couldn’t figure out where it came from or who said it. Then I heard it again and then I realized it was my neighbor. My neighbors name is Austin Hemmen. He asked

I said sure why not. He let me have the ball first, and then a little time went by and he ended up beating me by 5 but I was prepared to lose to him because he was better and had more experience and more height than me. After the game I said “I should probably be getting home now,” as the sun was starting to go down and the darkness of the night started to come out. He said “Ok, thanks for coming over and playing with me.”
“Anytime,” I replied with excitement.
When I got home my parents asked me about it and all I could say at that time was that it was “A blast, and a really fun time!” Then I got ready to go to sleep and get ready for whatever I was gonna do the next day and days after that. That’s how the next chapter of my life went and many more things to

Every Life Matters I really only started understanding the meaning of abortion once one of my mom’s friends had one. Before that I had very little knowledge about abortion. My parents have always taught me to stand by what I believe and that others may have different beliefs. They always told me that I would meet people that would disagree with me and what I believe not only when it came to these kind of topics but many other things as well. Being told that, they told me to always respect people’s beliefs and their points of view because everyone has the right to stand by what they believe, just like I do.…

After my mom got divorced we moved out of Alaska, where I was born, and lived in a lot of different places and states, most of them I am too young to remember, and moving in with my aunt and various other family members. Finally we moved to Ohio when I was in 5th grade and set up a permite home, where I meet my 3 best friends. I was hesitant to get attached but they were such characters that there was no way I couldn’t. Zero was the first people I meet and the first time I saw him he was crawling into my window while I was crying, after being yelled at by some horribly rude people at my school, and just announced that I shouldn’t listen to those meanies and we watched movies and shows the rest of the night, to this day I have no idea why he went through the window and didn 't just introduce himself through the front door, and we were friends ever since. The next was Derek who I meet when he got all beaten up and bloody kicking the crap out of bullies that were making fun of me.…

Polished Brief Have you ever wanted something so bad that you thought it was necessary for your life to go on, for me that something was a pet dog. At the age of seven I was begging my parents to get me a puppy for about a year, the conversations usually sounded like this “ Hey mom and dad I was wondering if I could get a puppy this year for my birthday?” and they would reply “ I don’t know son a dog is a huge responsibility, I don’t know if you are ready for this yet.” then I would storm off all angry, because I did not get the answer I was looking or hoping for.…

Square one can be bliss for many of us. We recall all the memories that come out of it, the smiles, the laughter, and everything in between. I imagine square one to be our own little bubble, where we sit and twiddle our fingers, frightened to step out-- because if you do, you get sucked into the next world, a world where we think we do not belong. Yet, many of us do not even care about going back.…

Lifestyle Fantasy Society accepts a way of making the younger generation think that anyone living a lifestyle filled with name brand products, fancy cars, and extremely large houses are the goals that one must achieve. On the contrary, others in society may assume that individuals not living these extreme lifestyle goals are on the lower echelons economically, but both assumptions are not true. Portraying a lavish lifestyle and possessing millions of dollars is not the same as living a healthy lifestyle filled with incredible people and experiences. Educational Goals A personal aspiration of mine is to be a lifelong learner, not saying I demand to obtain many degrees and certifications, but I yearn to learn as much as I can about the differences in people, cultures, organizations, and any other subject matter that I find interesting.…
