Informative Essay: The Blue Angels Air Show

So, I have been to an event in the recent years called the Blue Angels air show. The reason I decided to go to the Blue angel’s air show was because I was in the AFROTC. The AFROTC set up a trip to go see the Blue Angels because we were going to help the show by doing community service by directing cars and picking up trash amongst a few other things. The Blue Angels are people in jets that do tricks and other things such as flips and rolls with jets. “The Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Chester W. Nimitz, ordered the establishment of the team on April 24, 1946, as a recruiting tool for the Navy.” The name Blue Angels came from a New York magazine and it had the Blue Angel nightclub on it. The closest the jets have ever been together while flying was 18 inches. We set up a date and time to go and help them and we needed to see how many people were going so we knew how many buses we would need. We decided to take two buses to the show because there was a lot of people. So, one the chief told us “okay everyone, get out of the bus, and everyone will line up, we will be discussing what we will be doing and how to do it”. We were there very early at 6 am and there were no cars or anybody there yet except for us. We got ready to help and set everything up for …show more content…
It was hot and it got exhausting. The sun was glaring down at us and we had to keep directing traffic in the hot sun and at that time I was really regretting going to the show. It felt like I was just standing there pointing in one direction, walking back and forth in the hot sun. I remembered we were doing this for the community which was important to the Blue Angels because they needed help with the traffic because there was a lot of people coming so I thought it was an important contribution. They finally brought us some water and food which was great because we were all thirsty and hungry from standing in the heat almost all

Problems The 1920s was a step into the modern age with developments like refrigeration and penicillin that many took advantage of. However, the target of 1920s innovation was how we used aviation to excel transportation and communication within the country using a surplus military airplanes that no longer served a purpose. While we were there we had our hair redone because from the humidity it made it super frizzy! During the redo process I probably knocked my dad in the head 4 times with my crown. By time our redo was done we looked country and glitzy. Then we noticed we still had one hour and fourty-five minutes left we played Apples to Apples. We kept a really close eye one the time because we knew if we wanted good seats we would have to get there early.…

My mom made a phone call to the venue, the best decision all day. She explained the accident and glanced at my heavily taped ankle. They obliged and gave us a pass to use the service elevator instead of the stairs. The concert was fast approaching and the lines of teenage girls clad in flannels and 5 Seconds of Summer gear grew rapidly. I stood next to mom with a special sticker on my sweatshirt and a crush under my left arm.…

It was also my first time going to Knott’s Berry Farm without my parents. It was a Sunday and the 11-13 year olds were getting hot dogs, drinks, and chips ready to sell. The reason we were selling these food items was because we were having a fundraiser so each of us could pay for our ticket, so that we could go to Knott’s Berry Farm. I was kind of disappointed because I didn’t sell that much money during the first service. I was really worried that I wasn’t gonna be able to go, but my sister and my friend Kaylie cheered…

The drive to the rodeo took longer than usual due to the crapload of traffic. It didn't even seem to help that I left a little earlier so I might get there before the time that I was suppose to be there. Although the concert did not start till 8 o’clock, VIP check in was at 2:00. As I made my way down Interstate 40, I counted down minute by minute as I grew closer to Bridgestone Arena. I looked down at my phone to check the time once again and realized it was exactly 11:11; I quickly screenshotted my Pentatonix lock screen headed by the large 11:11 and closed my eyes to make a wish before time expired. The thought which immediately filled my mind was an image of me on stage with my most loved group singing to the listening fans; in that moment it was the only thing I think of because it was the only thing I wanted. I arrived at the arena with time to spare, but I filed into the line forming at the front door in order to make sure I didn’t…
