Greece follows high power authority where power is more visible in the work world, opposed to the United States with low power authority where power is more invisible in the work world. Structures can both benefit from each of these aspect of their societal norm, but also be hindered by it. High power can benefit others around them and establish a clear structure in society, but also be destructive if one has too much power and disrupts their collectivist society. Low power can be influential and empowering, but also can easily confuse individuals if authority is not clear. Now more than ever, Greece is categorized as a low uncertainty avoidance country. When scoping a picture of high uncertainty avoidance, people within this group are not afraid to speak, communicate and engage with one another. Most importantly, it would be to recognize that the people of Greece are a collectivist group in both their personal lives and professional lives. Building relationships and sharing one’s true self would be beneficial in this setting to interact with others. Second, cooperative achievements would help gain the ultimate happiness within this societal group. Working with others is key, and learning to be a collaborator and diligent communicator would help an individual thrive in this area. Lastly, it would be that Greece is also a low risk uncertainty environment. Speaking with others would be easier and people would be more willing to listen, especially when collaborating.
