I see it a lot with classmates and other other I might have to interacts with throughout the day. I see it with the children I babysit and children I see out in public. People in society are very attached to their technology. I see little kids asking for an iPad and knowing how to work it better than their parents do, see teens walking around staring at their phone, and sitting at a table with another person and they aren't even talking to each other they are too busy staring that their phone and flipping through social media. Relationships are being ruined because people aren't trying to connect with their partner they are connected to their technology. People are more connected to their technology than ever, everywhere you look something is using technology. It's ruining families, friendships, relationships, physical activities, and everything else in the world around us.
Technology is horrible for society, its only going to make people's problems worse instead of help. It's going to soon take people's jobs and ruin more

As technology becomes a more influential part of human society, questions are raised considering its impact on society. Clive Thompson’s article, Smarter than You Think: How Technology Is Changing Our Minds for the Better, addresses this issue by stating that technology has a positive effect on society. Jenna Wortham’s article, I Had a Nice Time with You Tonight. On the App., presents a similar argument, but takes a different approach, by making her argument more grounded in everyday life. Thompson’s analysis of how technology positively affects humanity can help shed light on Wortham’s observations about present day technology’s positive effects on communication.…

Cell Your Soul “Technology can be our best friend, and technology can also be the biggest party pooper of our lives. It interrupts our own story, interrupts our ability to have a thought or daydream, to imagine something wonderful because we’re too busy bridging our walk from the cafeteria back to the office on the cell phone. ”- Steven Spielberg. Technology is a big part of society and whether you like it or not, it’s here to stay and will likely become more central to a functional society.…

Shutting down our screens for a week would give us many opportunities to learn how to focus more, without being distracted. Electronics give people many chances to just procrastinate instead of getting important things done. Studies show that there are more negative aspects of using technology than positives ones. It’s hard to get work done when you’re texting people or updating your social media, but if you eliminated all screens, things can change. Synthesis: How is Technology Affecting Society? Consider living the life you live today two decades ago. For my generation just imagining a time without smartphones, tablets, and social media will give us the chills, and while this may not be the case for the Baby Boomers and Generation Xers it’s not to say they wouldn't be the slightest bit lost if they were magically thrown back into the 90’s .
