When this same experiment was done to see if cats have the same effect on a babies immune system like dogs the results came out to be the other way around, many times babies who are exposed to cats have more of a risk of getting allergies if there is a cat in the house. Therefore this evidence can go to prove the statement that dogs are better than cats. Mentally dogs help humans a lot with their mental health. When a person is stressed out it really puts a strain on the body and research shows that just by petting or looking at your dog can decrease your stress level and bring you back to a more calmed state. When their caretaker has been in a situation resulting in physiological problem many times doctors have them interact with their dogs as much as possible to help heal there brain. For example when soldiers come back from afghanistan and they have PTSD their doctors will have them interact with dogs or in bad cases of PTSD they could have a companion dog that will go
