When you arrive at Charleston Middle School you are not allowed to go to your locker, you have no choice but to go straight to the gym, cafeteria, or the library. If you would like to go get help from a teacher you must inform the hallway observer and they must approve of your destination. For lunch you must report to the cafeteria immediately with little loitering in the hallways. To leave the classroom during the homebase hour you must get your planner signed to be released. In high school when you get to school you are free to roam the halls and do whatever you want. There is an option to take an early bird class that starts forty-five minutes earlier so you can be dismissed forty-five minutes early. At 8:40 a.m. tutorial starts which is a time you can get help from any teachers or get make up work. The amount of team sports increase and with all these options they give students a chance to get involved, find their interests, help out in the community, and to make new
