Hampton County Sheriff’s Office responded to Heyward Town Road regarding the earlier incident. Hampton County Dispatch advised subjects involved had a machete and was attempting to assault others. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with Terri Stevenson, and Charlene Singleton, who was parked at the end of Heyward Town Road. Upon speaking with them, deputies relocated to Heyward Town Road when we observed a large crowd standing in the middle of the road.
Deputies spoke with Ms. Aundrea James who stated she was sitting down on her porch with her kids and her husband and a few in-laws. Ms. James stated she observed a white dodge truck came up and stop in front of her door. She stated Terri Stevenson opened the door and started a verbal altercation. Ms. James advised Ms. Charlene Singleton was driving and stopped the vehicle in her yard when at the time she observed Terry Stevenson threw a brick and broke her brother in law window. Ronald James stated he was at his sister house cleaning out his vehicle when he observed a white truck pulling up slowly. He stated the truck was occupied by Terri Stevenson and Charlene Singleton. Mr. James stated the vehicle pulled up to his vehicle, so his other family members ran up to the white dodge to see what was going on. He advises Stevenson got out the vehicle with a brick in which his family members attempted to stop her from causing damages to his vehicle.
