I think of Alaska and people using this blanket to cover up while fishing. To use these colors to not being distracting to the fish. Crazy idea of why this artwork was created but that is all I could think of. I asked my friends what they thought of the blanket and one of said a smart response about how this pattern could be on a sweater and this idea was thought about while shopping for clothes. My other friend agreed with the idea about Alaska, but also thought of it as a warm quilt and how long it takes someone to layout these patterns and get it just right without messing up. This paper was a little difficult to write, I slept on the idea of what I thought and I still personally think everyone has a different idea of what art is. Some people like graffiti on trains, or sculptures surrounded by water fountains. The “big idea” is all up to you personally, what do you like, what do you do for a hobby, what colors you are drawn to in majority of the artwork you view and how much time you look at the work. You have to have patience and love the idea of how much time people put into these artworks. If you don't love art than why bother looking at it, since you won’t appreciate
