George Washington A Good Leader Essay

Most can agree that George Washington was a ‘good’ leader. He lead in the revolutionary war fighting beside others. The american people saw leadership traits in him and elected President. George Washington was a humble man that stepped down when he needed to. He was a great and an admirable leader. However, his feats of leaderships raise the question of what does it mean to be a good leader? A good leader in today and any society serves alongside their people, is honest and sees potential. A leader shares the struggles of the people they are leading. Leaders are more than people who ‘handle the situation’ or give orders. Leadership is more than just being in charge. A leader is someone who others look to in the times of struggles. Martin luther King jr. was a leader who started something huge. Many people loved and followed him because he experienced the same struggles and fought beside his people for what he believed to be right.
