Planning and Implementing Treatment Goals with Clients John a 45-year white male had a stable job in the law enforcement for more than 20 years and was lately occupied a supervisory position. However, he is happily married for 15 years and has two children. Moreover, John has no criminal history, nor drug abuse record, but has a stress at work also, saving for college and having feelings of disappointments with life.On the other hand, John started drinking and recently begins taking high blood pressure medicine (Plummer, Makris & Brocksen). Certainly, a social worker in the case study of John will apply generalist intervention model of engagement. In addition, the social worker will greet the client and demonstrate effective skills by listen carefully, make an eye contact, be aware of cultural differences, use open ended questions, take notes, discuss the agency services and client expectations. Also, inform client the rules, conditions, and notifies the client the number of meeting sessions, place and complete the paper work.
