Time Analysis of Your Weekly Schedule.
One week has passed and I found it hard to stick my intended schedule. I was not able to achieve everything as I planned. Things which were not in my plan, suddenly appeared, and improvisation was the only choice I had. It took me lots of time to deal with, and I had to change my schedule constantly. For instance, my driving test was canceled due to car insurance issue, so I had to reschedule driving test appointment. Also, my work schedule changed, instead of working on Friday and Saturday as I always do, I had to work on Friday and Sunday this week. These unpredictable situations messed up my schedule and I couldn’t do thing as I planned.
Traffic was my time bandit. Traffic is the most common time bandit for everyone. It takes me almost an hour to get out of traffic jam, and 2 hour at the rush hour. It is hard for me to follow my schedule. Traffic can’t be controlled, so the only way I can cope with traffic or rush hour is to find a way that prevent me from getting in traffic jam before starting the engine, it could be a shortcut or a longcut. Even a longcut can save more time than trying to get out of traffic jam at rush hour. But if I was stuck in traffic at rush hour, I could use that time to do homework or assignments because I can only move 2 centimeters per minute during rush hour, and I will able to do 2 tasks at the same time, which can help me avoid wasting time. Despite not able to stick to my intended schedule, I still had enough time to prepare for college. Earning a good college and transfer to 4-year university are my first priority because of its numerous benefits. I spend about over 15 hours a week to study, not include the time which I study in class, and it still not enough to earn the grades I want to achieve. Although I have enough time to finish my assignments, I do not have enough time to review, research to have an insight of the lesson, and prepare for new lectures. So I need to spend more time to invest in education in order to succeed in college. I think setting priorities is the most helpful time management tip. Setting priorities “ help combat the urge to procrastinate” (Gardner, p.24). It assist me to determine which tasks, goals or objectives need to do first or later, and eliminate activities that are not important to give more time to important task. I can prevent myself from wasting time by using this tip. Balancing school with work and family is difficult for me. Fortunately, setting priorities will help me to meet these goals. It will lead me to find “ an appropriate way to balance your academic schedule with the rest of your life” (Gardner, p.24). I will not only have time for studying and working, but also have time

I chose to work 4 hours on Friday and 4 hours on Saturday. The work schedule ,which I chose, will allow me to have enough time for studying. Unfortunately, my work schedule is not consistent because of being a trainee, I need to be trained in 10 weeks in order to become an official employee. It will be hard for me follow things I planned if my work schedule is changed. If the work schedule matches my school day or studying time, I will ask to change. Unless it’s not changed, I will quit and find a new job which is good for my studying or school

In Josh Sundquist’s book Just Don't Fall he covers many aspects of the average human and the way we go about things. One aspect that I like is he really strives to show the drive, and the urge to never give up no matter what circumstances you are presented with. After reading this book I really decided to rethink many aspects of my own life and questioned how determined am I to actually do stuff. One way I plan to apply this to my own life is by putting all my effort into something if i'm going to even bother with it in the first place. What I mean is I don't wanna half ass it if my names going to be on the paper.…

There is no science to my madness; I keep it simple when it comes to organizing my day, or reminding me of an appointment. My calendar app on my phone is the only way I keep up with my busy schedule. When adding to my calendar I make sure I have a brief description that reminds me of what I have to accomplish. Usually, for appointments I have scheduled I set a reminder for that morning to inform me about upcoming appointments for that day, so I am better aware of my day. As I mentioned in my introduction, I am a Dental Assistant in the Army, and I see multiple patients on a daily basis.…

As a working student, I have to be ready to adapt to new assignments, unexpected errands, and sudden work crises that need to be addressed immediately, so i make sure there is enough study time in my work schedule so that if something comes up, I can shift it into another slot during the week. I always communicate my schedule to my employers, friends, clients and family and make sure the people around me know where i'll be and when. Since many psychology-related research are conducted within institutionalized laboratories, only a selective group of people, such as researchers, research assistants, and research review board members know about the conducted research’s progress. Therefore, scientists, who obtain respectable degrees, usually write comprehensive papers dedicated to the progress of their research, while embracing the purpose of reporting their findings, whether these findings are significant or not.
