During the duration of the time that Romeo and Juliet knew each other, a problem was that they would rush everything that had to do with their relationship. This started out with their marriage. After one evening of knowing each other, they decided to get married. During the well-known balcony scene, Romeo wants more after Juliet is about to leave. Juliet then introduces the idea of marriage by saying “If that thy bent of love be honorable,/ Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow” (II,ii,143-144). They agreed on marriage and got married exactly one day after they met. This example of rushing was due to the feud and how it’s boundaries limited the couple to certain things. Another example of when they rushed a part of their relationship was when they rushed their death. When the two characters executed themselves because they thought that the other was dead showed that they would’ve done anything for each other and couldn’t even live without each other. Although this seems as though it is love, their love was too rushed to really say that it was love. Because the relationship was rushed by the feud, the lovers couldn’t experience a long-lived relationship. If there were no feud, they could’ve spent more time getting to know each other which would have most likely altered their decisions at least
